of state. The rough green snake is a harmless slender vine snake
which feeds primarily on insects. Their slender build, bright green
coloration, and arboreal habits makes this snake a master of disguise,
blending in perfectly with surrounding vegetation. They prefer to
rest in low shrubs and vines, especially greenbriers, rose bushes,
and blackberry thickets, where their prey abounds. A gentle snake,
they are easy to handle and rarely, if ever, bite. |
