1/2 of the state. The spotted chorus frog is a member of the
treefrog family, Hylidae, and like all treefrogs, they have enlarged
toe pads to act as suction pads for climbing. A relatively small frog,
the nocturnal spotted chorus frog prefers to the spend most of its
days under the shelter of a cool, moist log or rock, while actively
hunting for insects during the warm moist nights. |
